i like the strange minty green tones in his paintings, he must be using a really vivid minty green as his under paint. under paint can work wonders, i usually use green, but i've seen a lot of people use red to give the paintings warmth. i'm not so fussed about warmth though, i'd rather end up with something a bit on the moody side, as viner has with the use of colour in his paintings;
