do you let any of your pets sleep in your bed with you?

The poll is closed, and this is the result..

Most of us agree that kitty can stay in the bed. If you don't let your pet in the bed with you, and especially if the reason is that you find it disgusting, you're in the minority.

I tried to search for pictures of pets in beds, and I stumbled across this one:
Ha ha awww what a happy dog, I bet he had a good time chewing up the mattress.

Here's an old picture of me in the bed of a dog I know. It was only fair that he was allowed to try out my bed after I was allowed to try out his.. (it's not the same dog as in the picture above!!):
Come on, seriously, kitty is NOT disgusting :
I wonder what sort of pets apart from dogs and cats that people let sleep in their beds?

paintings by Julie Zarate (six06)

I discovered this artist on Flickr and immediately fell in love with her stylized iconic lady-portraits. The combination of bright white faces, as if they're masks, and blood red with pitch black and golden tones is very dramatic. I like how in some of her paintings, the faces are painted in with skeleton face painting, it reminds me of Día de los Muertos, and that is always a good thing (remember, I'm a goth and all that).

Aww look at her black skeleton hole painted nose, isn't it great?:

I love ornamental hair like in this painting:

Check out the artist's website.

chilling out to chill out music

The fact that chill out music is so slow and takes forever to build up used to make me stressed and worked up, like "oh my god something needs to happen FAST, speed up for fuck's sake!!".

But this track by Vibrasphere is mellow and full of nice yet it doesn't make me stressed at all. Hurrah for chilling out!

an old painting of mine

I didn't like this painting when I made it, but now I do and I wonder where it is. I either sold it or gave it away.

cute fluffy-things

I seriously want one of these angora rabbits, but I'm not settled down enough to own a pet.

I always thought nothing could be too fluffy, but I've changed my mind, and if/when I get an angora rabbit I'll make sure that it can at least look out of it's own fluff:

vector alien

I've been checking out the pen tool in Photoshop, and have made my first vector drawing based on one of my sketches. I always make such a mess when I do anything creative, so it's very satisfying to be able to make something so neat and clean and perfect. I'm sure the novelty will wear off soon.

vector alien

The eyes are sampled from a picture of some eye disease I found, it sounds nasty but I think it looks pretty.

beautiful memento mori paintings by Nina Rupena

I love what she has done with the stenciled lace and the yellowed sepia colours- like in faded photographs, faded memories. I think it looks like a mix of something spiritual and beautiful and something decaying and rotting. A perfect memento mori.. oh dear, I'm such a goth :)

The paintings are oil paint and stencil on canvas.

real alien pictures

Yes they are real pictures. The aliens are probably fake though. That's ok, I have a fluid enough perception of reality to be satisfied by imagining and pretending.

Still.. it would be more awesome if they where for real. If any aliens reads this, please get in touch for conversation and a photo session for proof, and make sure you turn up to my house looking more believable than in these photos.
Ps. I come in peace.
