normally i think the tokyo harajuku fashion phenomena is cool as fuck, but .. erhm.. i don't know what to say. there's something gnome-like about these two girls that doesn't go very well with the sugary baby pink.

john bauer (1882-1918) , was a swedish fairy tale illustrator who has been a great source of inspiration for many after him. there's a dark melancholic and mystical theme to his work that i've loved ever since i first saw his drawings as a child.
